Garrett Flinn, a three-sport standout as a senior, was named TheHHCSports.com’s third Male Athlete of the Year.

Flinn played soccer during the fall campaign and helped the Stars finish 6-8-5. He was a starter on the basketball team, averaging 2.7 points (scoring a career-high 11 against Corydon) and 1.3 rebounds as BNL went 14-11.

He made the major impact in track. Flinn was a member of the 400 and 1600 relays that won Hoosier Hills Conference, sectional and regional championships while qualifying for the IHSAA state finals in both races.

Garrett Flinn, a member of two relays that qualified for the state finals last season, will play a key role for the Stars.
