LOUISVILLE – Bedford North Lawrence finished 18th in the 34-team Tiger Run, hosted by Louisville St. Xavier, on Saturday morning.
The Stars totaled 490 points to finish in the middle of the pack. St. Xavier won the meet with 29, followed by Louisville schools Trinity (69) and Manual (136).
Trey Pemberton was the top finisher for the Stars as he crossed the line in 44th place (in a field of 302 competitors) in 17:50.58. Chance Pemberton was 100th (18:55.84) and Isaak Gilbert was 124th (19:17.27).
Alex Mortimer of Tates Creek was the individual champion in 16:05.50. St. Xavier had five finishers in the top 8 places, paced by Patrick Schaefer (2nd in 16:13.18).
BNL will compete in the Terre Haute North Invitational on Sept. 3.
