JEFFERSONVILLE – Jeffersonville scored three times in the first 16 minutes and rolled to a 4-1 win over Bedford North Lawrence on Saturday morning.
The Red Devils dominated the action, totaling a 24-4 advantage in shots while BNL was whistled for 17 fouls. The Stars didn’t get on the board until the 77th minute, when Alan Anderson converted a pass from Logan Andrews into a goal.
“We came out flat and got behind early,” BNL coach Logan Andrews said. “We were a little sloppy and played crazy doe to their high pressure. We definitely struggled to move the ball and execute like we wanted.”
BNL (5-4-1 overall, 1-3 in the Hoosier Hills Conference) will host Brown County on Monday.
