NOBLESVILLE – Bedford North Lawrence finished fifth in the 67th annual Noblesville Relays on Tuesday night.
Center Grove won the seven-team event with 122 points, followed by Carmel (103) and Noblesville (93.3). The Stars scored 46.3.
BNL, with Isaac Kuehn, Alex Adams, Garrett Flinn and Micah Wagner, finished third in the 400 meter relay in 45.13 seconds. Center Grove won that event in 43.19. That same BNL foursome also finished third in the 1600 relay in 3:29.34, with Center Grove also winning that race in 3:22.15.
The Stars also finished fifth in the 800 sprint medley (James Ford, Dylan Bortner, Evan Baker and Braden Weilbaker in 1:41.62) and the 800 meter relay (Bortner, Baker, Weilbaker and Logan Cooper in 1:37.93),
BNL was also sixth in the 440 shuttle hurdle relay (1:16.66) and sixth in the distance medley relay (12:24.64).
Alex Juhl was second in the 100 dash (for heavyweights) in 12.92, Lane Hawkins finished fourth in the high jump (5-6) and Flinn was fourth in the long jump (19-3 3/4).
BNL will compete in the Hoosier Hills Conference meet on Thursday.
