BNL boys send four
individuals to regional
Bedford North Lawrence earned one of the five team spots in the IHSAA regional during Saturday morning’s sectional race on the BNL course.
The Stars totaled 152 points to finish fifth in the 10-team field. The top five teams, plus the top 10 individuals who are not members of qualifying teams, advanced to the second round of the state tournament series.
Bloomington North defended its team title with 23 points while Bloomington South was second with 35. Those two teams dominated the race, claiming the top 14 spots between them. North’s Grace Williams was the individual winner in the 5K event in 18:41.9.
