BLOOMINGTON – Bedford North Lawrence failed to qualify any individuals for the IHSAA state finals during Tuesday’s regional at Bloomington North.

The top three in each event advanced to the state championships at Indiana University on June 3.

North regional results

BNL sophomore¬†Megan Lambrecht finished 5th in the shot put with a throw of 37-0. Henryville’s Hannah White won the event at 38 feet 1/4 inch.

Sarah Brewster was 10th in the 200 meter dash (27.44) and 10th in the long jump (15-4 1.2). Mikaela Rainey was 10th in the discus (104-7).

BNL’s Carrie Flinn qualified for the regional in the 3200 but did not compete because of a calf injury. Greencastle freshman Emma Wilson won that race in 10:50.55, setting a meet record (held by Bloomington North’s Daniellia Daggy at 11:02.94 since 1989).
